Mortality 03:10
In time all your friends will die and you will be alone. They say, "Well you know, you might ascend," or so you are told. Sometimes it's just the end that's on your mind from the comforts of your home. You're growing so very old. The only certain thing is you're dying one day at a time. The days just come and go, till you don't know where you are any more. Your mind runs sanguine sweet, as your words escape your sheets. Your very soul is leaking out. It's a force that just depletes, from the pit of your conceit, and you're not faking it no more.
2.
Sudden Death 02:48
It's a shock to the system. It's a truth that you must face. The person you knew is gone. So much for tribute songs! They can never be replaced. It's a black day on your calendar. How many moons since the last one? Was it weeks or maybe years? You'll be engaged with all your fears till funeral bells eclipse the Sun. It's just another sudden death. It's just another sudden death. another sudden death. It's just another sudden death. It's a natural occurrence coming at high frequency. You're trying to tune it out, but your dial's stuck in place. It's all that you can see. It goes out with your ego, with your complacency. With your brain against the wall, you'll be picking up the pieces for the next couple of weeks It's just another sudden death. It's just another sudden death. another sudden death. It's just another sudden death weighing on your conscience.

Years are racing by. I can't keep up with all these changes. I'm lost in place, and in time. And I still feel like I did yesterday. I feel as old as I did yesterday. I'm losing speed. I'm growing faster now. I really outta act my age, but I feel as old as I already did yesterday. I feel as old as I already did yesterday. It's a slow growth to your grave... It's the progression to nothing... It's the slow descent into madness... It's the miracle of age. And I still feel like I did yesterday. I feel as old as I already did yesterday. Yesterday... Yesterday... Yesterday...

There were you and all your dreams of how your life was gonna be you've found solace from those foolish friends you knew were never gonna stick around. Now you're hoping your sweet somethings will roll around from night and into day. Turn your pockets inside out and all your lovers seem to run away. Abandoned in your hour of need? Well that's always me! Should have landed on your own two feet, but you're scampering! Try to make my way in life but precedents are fucking with my cause. Try to make my happiness but presidents are fucking me with laws. It all makes me laugh out loud I'm watching our destruction tall and proud. Hear the sirens sound out now, yeah, soon they will be firing at the crowds. Get a grip they said, "Oh brother please," well that's always me. Tyranny will bring you to your knees. Well, it's happening! Try to bring my hands to strings, the moment rings, it sounds out, then it's gone. Try to bring my reasoning with melody and melancholy songs but it all seems futile now the future brings a million songs a day Add it up to a sonic blur and soon you'll see my signal fade away. Off the radar, nowhere to be seen, like forgotten dreams, etched in cornea corners, sole and serene well that's always me!

I gaze from an angle, you stretch out a smile. Tells tales of what's in your head. You're too damn resistant, I tried for a while, your caution keeps men from your bed. You laugh as your days stretch on. I watch as you spend them alone. No daughters, no sons, no will to be won. No solace, no refuge, no home. Well, who sings a song for your heart loudly as they shout from the street? And I've heard you saying to yourself, "why do they sing it for me?" Now you kneel at the alter, and pray to the powers, that fortune will smile on you. That's where you falter, the clocks count the hours, of torture your body turns through. Now you're waiting for something to change, yeah, you're patiently wasting your days. You need love and affection, a whole new direction, a purpose, a place, and an aim. Well, who sings a song for your heart loudly as they shout from the street? And I've heard you saying to yourself, "why do they sing it for me?" Now you're growing impatient. You've sapped all the nectar the world gave you to to soothe all your wounds. You stand at the station. The man you're stood next to, you've waved to conduct their own tune. Now you're sickly from being alone, and you won't leave your bed in the day. 'Cause you quake at the truth, there's no fountain of youth, and you're losing your chance as you age. Who sings a song for your heart softly as they drift off to sleep? And I've heard you saying to yourself, "Why do they sing it for me?"

Force 02:17
A man, a gun, his little hands. He keeps it holstered. Wicked plans. He's drawing up a list of his demands: a one night stand and a gold escape car. Never get very far on an attitude of sweet release and discreet platitudes. Burning on for the dawn of the next one. All night long on a lawn, tried to neck one, two, three, four, who's a whore or a horror? "-sure I saw a ghost in the last place." Every single girl makes the same face. Breaking your back for love is a disgrace. Never tried too hard to get too dedicated. Every holy place is a place I've desecrated. Denigrated down to a meaningless void, Avoid human contact, but savour the physical. Animal; quizzical; curious wonder: force of nature like lightning or thunder. A ravenous wolf in a pack of sheep, He's trying to chow down, but it beggars belief: they're all disguised and wrapped in sheets. Pulling wool over eyes, amidst furious bleats. The streets are filled with their next kills, A Brave New World that's built on pills. Thrills will come to those who seek them. Chills run spines when you can't defeat them. Try and take them back, but you can't delete them. Memories: echoing, every day, everywhere. Kinda scared, but you can't break this feeling. Peel the skin back, and it's so revealing. Visceral, medical, cynical reaction. Fatal consequences to a law of attraction. Try to stave the feelings with another distraction. Retraction of the fangs of a vampire creature. Feature set complete, a machine post-beta. Emotionless Machine will see you later.

The modern world is not my home: a horse without a rider. Slowly racing into the end of days, it's like a living nightmare. When I wake the dream comes true, and when I wake the dream comes true, and when I wake I scream. And so we stand on the precipice, where we define our being. I squander my days in avarice, trying to find some meaning. When I wake the dream comes true, and when I wake the dream comes true, and when I wake I scream. I'll ride the tiger through the cycles of the Earth. Turn the snake back on itself, watch it bury its head deep. And as St. John looks on, I'll usher in the days! I'll battle Ragnarok, then ride upon the waves! And when I dream, it's coming soon... And when I dream, it's coming soon... And when I dream, it's coming soon... And when I dream...

Lighthouse 03:38
When you're alone, and isn't that all of the time? You search for souls in solitude, but you never find that kindred spirit, you've been searching for, like a distant traveller, sailing to your shore. How long will you wait? How long will you wait for them to find you? How long will you wait? When you're alone, and that's all you've ever been, you shine, how you've shown, like no one's ever seen. Like a dark night's lighthouse, casting beams afar. Burning brightly, so they'll know where you are. How long will you wait? How long will you wait for them to find you? How long will you wait?

I Drift 03:49
I search day and night I'm longing for someone familiar across this lonely sea. I'm hoping they will welcome me. I move across the floor and by the clocks, through avenues unexplored with ticking hands to guide me through. I've no idea where I am going to. I count on countless play date working days encounters always fade away as memories melt in time. I've got better things on my mind. I dream I'll be a better man some day. I'll make you understand some way you never could, but what the Hell? I'm half the man you once knew well. I am an image in your cognisance, an actor in your consciousness, that plays and fades with hazy days. I'm an afterthought of your crazy ways. I live in neurons firing in your brain; a passenger in moving trains that carry me through crowded days. I'm drifting flotsam in your waves.

Monitors 03:53
Let's turn the monitors off. No one's gonna answer your call. You know there's no one there at all. All the lines you've searched along, are folding into flat-lines. A sea of static, swiftly swimming lies. We're all alone in this universe. Sometimes you know it's just the truth that hurts, but mending fabrications is much worse. So save us from ourselves again: escapism, our one unholy sin. Yeah, it's a pit we're gladly falling in. Believe me when I say to you, there's nothing I think I'd rather do, then sit and talk for hours and hours to you. The ones you love will surely die, from family trees to apples of your eye. A certainty that you cannot deny. So, why search for life that's far away? When life is thriving right down here today. Hold on to what you have, and "Come what may..."

City Rats 02:52
You and I are city rats. We keep the country running on our backs. Working pointless jobs in our pointless lives. We're all living in our city flats, paying double on our council tax, so we can grease these gears, and just to watch them turn. And everything we need is cheap. All the people that we meet are cheap, and they just come and go, and we all look the same. And whenever I'm feeling alone, I can tap on a telephone to talk to strangers who don't care to know my name. You and I were made for more than pushing pencils and keeping the score. Working 9 to 5, and just to stay alive! Let's make a business of you and me, refract the blindness till we can see. pushing through the crowds that just stare back through you. We can trade coffee and jokes. We can laugh till we choke. Breathing poison air from all that city haze. And I can lie down with you, till our limbs turn cold and blue. Oh, what a wonderful way for us to waste our days!

College 03:11
Your days are passing by, and you don't even care. You stare in the mirror and straighten up your hair so you can leave at night and fuck a bunch of guys. You live a wasted life. But your sadness grows with every passing day till you can't stay away from how you're feeling. Reeling suitors close, Twisting, shooting in the dark, Stark ejaculations spring, "are you really happy!?" Your hours are passing on, and on, and on, let's write another song, "oh the government is wrong," "oh well we don't get along." I don't think we ever did. I'll be happy when you're gone. Have you ever thought for a day in your life, or did you just recite all your notes and stories? Ideals burn too bright, you're terrified at the sight! You have no will to fight for your hope and glory. The minutes ticking on you're imprisoned by your books and all those curious looks from those lecturers and crooks. who have tricked you into debt, with pretentious intellect, lesson learned, now don't forget! To what degree will you turn, with all your papers burned? Smeared in ashes; sackcloth spurned, "There's no job for Jobs now!" Your thesaurus guides you through, blue collar services, and now you're sure you lived, only as they taught you. Drop out! Drop out! Drop out now! Drop out now!

I was beside myself with joy, and when you ran away three long years ago I felt my heart destroyed. Now I'm too close for comfort, clinging to what sticks, oh, and it never does so why continue chasing what will never be for me? And I still live my life alone. And I still live my life alone. I flirt with all the girls I meet. And it always seems so fleeting, fleeing from yourself. You hold me at an arm's length, we never get too close. So, is this really love, or just convenience? The nearest soul that was in reach for you? I hold myself together at night. I hold myself together at night. I run to whatever heart seems near. I'll take my beatings in fractured union, joined by broken bones. I'll hide my desperation: my tired sullen eyes. Oh, men never cry, and I'm trying to impress you. My only fear is that I'll die alone, And so far that seems to be truth. And so far that seems to be truth.

Break 04:16
Hello. It is nice to finally meet you. Maybe we can go to movies so that we can see the people, we thought we could be when we were not much younger now. Now those fantasies have left us and we're wandering in silence in a world that's filled with violence, sex and drugs, and me and you. Neither of us quite so sure, where we are headed to. With every tick of every clock, there is a movement of a hand, but all my ligaments, they struggle to make motion in the morning. I just lay in bed for another thirty minutes. Hello. I am looking for acceptance from another certain someone who can crack through all the crags and crevasses that surround the rock in which I'm still living. I don't mean to sound too hateful, it comes naturally like air I breathe, or fire burning in the elements of all I am. I'm holding out for plans of a new beginning. Tear into the very core of me, I want to see my heart again, and feel the beating on my chest of love and hate or something that I can't mistake for artificial living. Break me... Break me... Break me... Break me in... Break me... Break me... Break me... Break me in... please.

There's so much to live for, so much to see! I'll never get bored. I just want to be anything at all, so why not this? Sometimes we fall... Sometimes it's bliss... So where's my key to happiness? You hold on to me? Well hold to this. We can sit and talk, and reminisce. Cast our worries off and never miss each other. Well, not the bad times... Unforgiven sins from you or me are liquidated in the memories. Captured perfectly; locked in time. Lost in endless dreams; expressed in rhyme. And all my friends are here with me. The moments never end, they just repeat. You cannot pretend it's all defeat. Maybe in the end we can meet in that city. I hope you make it... It's never make believe, but it's all in the way you perceive and where you've been. What you've done or said is dead and gone. The whole world's in your head, so just live on. And time, it never stops for anyone. It cares not for the drop or rise of sun, and retroactive thought's a smoking gun. So forget what you're taught, and be the one...

Stand As One 03:19
As you cross your heart and hope to die you're spitting in your brother's eye. A holy nation, filled with pride, stands firmly on a genocide. "What we believe is now your truth..." In culture wars we always lose! Misguided men and their abuse prevail till we shout from the roofs: "We're all the same!" We're all the same way. "We're all the same!" We're all the same way. "We're all the same!" We're all the same way. "We're all the same!" We're all the same way. My name, my face, my skin, or creed they're no reasons to make me bleed. Sectarian identities prolong and breed idolatry, so why wallow in the baseless hate? It's time you finally concentrate. To classify was our mistake. Reject the lies, reiterate: "We're all the same!" We're all the same way. "We're all the same!" We're all the same way. "We're all the same!" We're all the same way. "We're all the same!" We're all the same way. Suddenly we all stand as one when we have no race to run. Suddenly we all stand as one when we have no race to run. Suddenly we all stand as one when we have no race to run.
